Vapour Brew Pub is one of the new breweries in Hyderabad that was opened a couple of months back. MyPopcornBox was cordially invited for a food tasting session and we landed there on a Monday evening. We entered, we were seated in the terrace and the ambiance was beyond perfect for a date night or to hangout with your friends on a weekend. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with a large screen as well! Manager Amrit and Waiter Lakshminarayana were the go to guys for the evening. They answered all our questions, showed us the entire place and got us everything we needed.
Our binge session kick started with Mocktails, Cocktails, Beer Samplers and Starters.
Beers: Similar to other breweries, they have their Lager, Blonde, Stout, Wheat, and Cider. The best of these, according to me, were the Stout (Strong and dark) and Cider (Sweet and Light).
Then came the mocktails-
Mango Queen: She truly was the Queen of Mocktails. She was topped with mango flavored foam that was made from Liquid nitrogen!
Kiwi n Melon Cooler: Served in a shoe shaped glass, it had Kiwi, watermelon served with crushed ice. A true refresher.
Coco Blue Loo: It was just that perfect blend of Rum and the rest. Not too diluted and not very strong. It just hit the right chords!
Deconstructed Watermelon Caprioska: Watermelon and vodka at it’s best and we really aren’t exaggerating. You should surely try it out to know that we mean it! Highly recommended!
Pina Pogo Pogo: The most interesting one. Tequila based, spices added and the cinnamon sticks were set on fire for the drama and the night got smokier 😀
Moving on to the Starters:
Chicken Tikka Awadhi – Hands down, the star dish of the night and the juiciest chicken ever. Seriously guys, if you are a chicken lover, please try this for us and you will thank us later!
Chicken 65– Nothing exceptional but was equally delicious. Serving it in a momo basket is what made it interesting!
Chilli paneer – Chillllli, just as spicy as we love it.
Corn & cheese bites – These crunchy ones will complement your beer really well!
Nuts n Beans masala – This needs a mention as it was assorted in a very attractive set of tiny barrels. We just wished they gave away the barrels as well. We loved it that much!
Summer Melon – The feta cheese and melon combination is unquestionable and this stayed true to it!
for the Main Course we were served Fish steak, Nasi goreng( Indonesian style fried rice) and Cottage cheese steak and they tasted as good as they looked!
Dessert: Mud cake with Ice cream dessert- The most delightful way to end the dinner- to end a day 😀 We were full till our throats by the time this was in-front of us but we managed to almost complete it, as that’s how delicious it was!
To compliment the food and fun, DJ: Ananth played Old School-Soft Rock-Pop Rock (not the routine, loud, shapes and thrills) which took us back to our childhood and we were so glad! 😀
That sums up our experience at Vapour and we would really recommend you to go out there, try their food and drinks and it sure will be worth it! Trust us 🙂
